Title: Custom desktop wallpaper isn't displayed in the greeter (12.4) Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Simple as that. If I choose one of the wallpapers bundled with Precise, it displays in the login screen. If I choose a custom image, it doesn't. I'm choosing images from my "Images" directory (my OS is set to French), and their permissions are set to 775, or "-rw-rw-r--".
