This looks to be Fixed since xorg-edgers is now using fglrx 9.x, which
doesn't need patched for kernel 3.5.x

[xorg-edgers] Missing kernel 3.4.x and 3.5.x dkms patches

Bug description:
This is related to bug #993427 however the xorg edgers fails to
install properly without the patches and it's possible to recover from
the official installer if you manually add the patches to the system.
The best way to test is to install the xorg edgers ppa:
https://launchpad.net/~xorg-edgers/
Steps to reproduce:
step 1) Install xorg edgers ppa on fresh install of system.
step 2) update to latest software release, and reboot. ( At this step
everything for xorg/mesa will be usable)
step 3) install fglrx. ( this will fail, due to dkms problems )
step 4) reboot. ( at this stage all 3d-acceleration and whatnot will end)
