Overall this is pretty much a no nothing bug. That being said the new proposed fix appears to only be partially effective Seems to work ok when left clicking on launcher icon but has no affect if using a quicklist entry instead, nautilus will open behind. Also doesn't address similar issues with firefox & sometimes synaptic
