Public bug reported:

When editing a profile, in the Colors tab, you can customize each swatch
in the palette. The plus sign button in the lower left obviously
provides the ability to freely choose a color for a swatch. The default
value here is statically #BF4040, but it should be the same as the
swatch's current value. One effect of the way it is now, is difficulty
in adjusting gradually to a suitable color.

** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
