Public bug reported:

here comes the data from the second machine with
Athlon 4050e (Asus M2A-VM) with - AMD 690G Chipset - Integrated ATI Radeon
X1250-based graphics

this time, it took a while to produce the freeze, but it worked (again, with
all 12.04 LTS updates up to date and again, with firefox, but on mostly
different websites).
The freeze cannot be reproduced by simply coming back to the same web page,
unfortunately.
so in principle, it could be also firefox that causes the freeze, but it
shouldn't affect compiz/xorg.
