Title: Firefox fails to open window from desktop launcher Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Session starts, unity established, firefox icon shows on sidebar. Click Firefox icon and it does not show a window. Open terminal and use $ killall firefox $ firefox Now firefox launches and shows a window. Now the launcher on the side bar will work.
