Title: Several strings shown untranslated, albeit they're translated Status in Ubuntu Translations: Fix Released Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in “software-center” source package in Natty: Fix Released Bug description: TEST CASE: 0. use spanish (or german) 1. use the natty software-center (4..0) 2. Write a new review 3. verify that on submitting the string "Submitting Review" is untranslated (in the lower left) 4. verify that after the review landed the text "a few minutes ago" is untranslated 5. install software-center from natty-proposed 6. repeat 2 and verify that 3,4 are no longer the case Binary package hint: software-center There're two strings that shows untranslated in my Spanish desktop: - "Submitting Review" => "Enviando reseña" - "a few minutes ago" => "hace unos minutos" However, the above strings are fully translated in Launchpad: https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/natty/+source/software-center/+pots/software-center/es/9/+translate https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/natty/+source/software-center/+pots/software-center/es/200/+translate and the translations are into the software-center.mo file: $ strings -eS /usr/share/locale-langpack/es/LC_MESSAGES/software-center.mo | grep "Enviando re" Enviando reseña $ strings -eS /usr/share/locale-langpack/es/LC_MESSAGES/software-center.mo | grep "hace unos" hace unos minutos I attach an screenshot to illustrate the problem.
