Initially marked myself as affected, but I haven't seen this for at least half a year (maybe even more) on 12.04.

I checked with top and noticed that colord used 100% CPU. After a couple of minutes I grew impatient and just killed it. I haven't noticed any difference in the system's operation after killing it.
