Title:
Can't open any Microsoft Office files, including Word or Powerpoint
Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Attempting to open a Word .doc or PPT file fails. Document just has a
jumble of characters in Writer. In Impress opening a PPT pops up an
ascii input filter dialogue. I've tried many files on the two
computers I have running 12.10 with no success.
This appears to be a known issue with this version of LibreOffice with
current versions not suffering this bug.
