Title:
  upgrade.py crashed with '<html>\r\n' in _read()

Status in “hplip” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  The crash happens after boot. I have hplip systray enabled at startup.
  This also crashes whenever I try to print. I wonder why ugrade.py
  should run at all.
