Public bug reported:

On libreoffice a underperformance has become standard in Ubuntu.

Referring to

http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=libreoffice&searchon=names&suite=all&section=all

it can be seen that since quantal relase candidates of libreoffice
reside in Ubuntu, which are absolutely not actual.

In respect to

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1118600

this seems to be not accepted by people.

"

@ Christopher - It's an early alpha build, not even close to the stable
4.0.0 release.

For now, there is no PPA with the stable 4.0.0 release.
