Title:
Ipod : impossible to drag and drop a file directly from Nautilus to
  the ipod

Status in The Rhythmbox Music Management Application:
  New
Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: rhythmbox

If you drag and drop a file from your windows manager (Nautilus for
instance) to your Ipod in Rhythmbox, nothing happens. To upload a file
to an ipod, the file must be added to the library first and then
dragged and dropped from the library to the ipod.

I think it would be really nice to be able to upload a file to the
ipod directly, without passing through the library.
