Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to
look at all reported bugs in a timely manner.
It seems this is not a feature any more. At least I can't see the BBC
plugin in the current versions of Ubuntu.

Title:
Make BBC content able to be added to playlists
Status in “totem” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:

If this is the wrong place to make feature requests, please let me
know. I've seen other such requests marked "Wishlist". In any event,
this is something intuitive that is missing.
I like the integrated BBC content on Ubuntu. What I'd really like to
do, though, is to queue up a series of BBC content into a playlist.
There's no current way to do that other than manually downloading the
files and assembling them. If there was a way to make a playlist of
BBC stuff, I'd listen a lot more :-)
