Title:
MP3 playlist files (.m3u) should be associated with Totem by default

Status in “totem” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: totem

I'm not sure if this is an Ubuntu or Totem issue (or both). Currently
.m3u files are not associated with Totem on a default Ubuntu install,
although Totem can handle this file type.

It would make sense in terms of user experience if these MP3 playlist
files could be associated with Totem by default in the absence of any
other player installed - this way they can be easily opened/played
  without any configuration changes.
