Title:
Blank screen on resume from suspend
Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
I was previously reporting this on bug 966744, which is however now
marked as fixed and we are requested to open new reports. This is an
issue which I get very sporadically on resuming my Dell Latitude E6410
whereby the keyboard is still active (I was able to switch to a
virtual terminal and reboot, and now to file this bug report via a
script which I have previously created) but the screen stays
completely blank. Rebooting via the "reboot" command brings the
system back to life. I do not recall seeing this issue when resuming
on mains power, which for me usually means with a docking station and
external monitor attached, but I have been having it very irregularly
for over a year - possibly two - so I would not like to make a
definite statement about that.
