Title:
compiz crashes when a java overlay is larger than display

Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

I was using Matlab, and during a debug session the mouse hovered over
an array with many numbers; the popup that shows, containing the
(first part of the) numbers in that array crashes the 3D capabilities
of my desktop, so compiz was suddenly gone. See popup, I think it
might have to do with that particular popup running off the display
(since popups that are smaller do not pose a problem).
