When connecting a HDMI device, open sound settings, Hardware tab, and choose
HDMI output profile (previously Stereo Duplex is selected).
It used to work after the update to Precise, but short after it started
keeping the output ALSO on the laptop (double output).
A workaround seems to be: select IEC958 first, and HDMI afterwards.
The first step produces no audio, the second has only HDMI audio, as expected.
