Subtitles in totem don't synchronize with movie

Bug description:
Binary package hint: totem
When i am watching some movies in totem and i watching it with subtitles, i
have problem with subtitles synchronization.
Subtitles are .txt and they are ok when i play it in other player its ok and
works correctly. please do something with that.
Ubuntu: 9.10 64bit
Totem version: 2.82.2-0ubuntu3 (totem)
