changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if

apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this
particular issue.

Bug description:
New install of Ubuntu 11.04 The first dvd i tried was a copy of
original. I got sound but only a black screen; no picture. I tried the
original disk and got an error message: could not read dvd. This maybe
because dvd is encrypted and a dvd encryption library is not installed
