Title:
Fails to work correctly with attached displayport monitor (27 inch
  iMac)

Status in X.org xf86-video-intel:
  Unknown
Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Hardware:
  Intel DH67GD Motherboard
  Intel 2600K processor
Chimei Monitor connected via DVI (working)
Apple 27 inch iMac via displayport

When the machine boots the BIOS screen shows on both the monitors but
once X starts the iMac goes dark. It occasionally flashes blue,
perhaps as if the displayport connection is being reinitiated. X
"works" on the DVI monitor, but is extremely slow (mouse movement lags
  and is jerky).
