Bug description:

I am using a Dell Latitude D610 laptop with a Dell monitor attached,
running the two screens with different windows on them. It works well,
except that several times, I have returned to my desk to discover a
pop up alert that tells me that it is now running in low graphics
mode. After that it mirrors both monitors with the same windows, and
sets them at the same resolution, forgetting that the plug in monitor
can work at a higher resolution. If I then reboot the computer, it
goes back to the way I had it before, with two separate monitors each
doing their own thing.
