The help xfce in Xubuntu 12.10 does have the Welcome to Xubuntu 12.10. 4) I experienced the yelp 'Welcome to Xubuntu 11.10' on a 32bit desktop and on 64bit laptop with Xubuntu 12.04 installed. I have attached two screenshots of the 'Welcome to Xubuntu 11.10' in the Xubuntu 12.04 help page.
