Title:
HUD is not working in LibreOffice Writer when opening a Writer
document from Nautilus
Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Hi everybody. I have recently updated LibreOffice from quantal proposed
repository. Now Libreoffice global menu works when opening a document file from
Nautilus, so theses bugs are solved:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1064962
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1069736
Now, we have global menu when opening a document(odp, odt) from Nautilus, but
in this case HUD does not work in LibreOffice Writer. The thing is that if I
open a presentation in Writer from Nautilus I have global menu and HUD working.
But, if I open a text document from Nautilus in Writer, I hace global
menu, but HUD does not search nothing in Writer.
But, in Writer, if I open a document from File-->Open..., in this
case I can use HUD, it works very well.
Step to see the bug.
1- Open a Writer document from Nautilus.
2- See that global menu is working.
3- Press ALT to use HUD, input some search in HUD and you will see that its
not working with LibreOffice Writer menu.
In LibreOffice Impress HUD works when opening a document from Nautilus.
Sorry about my English.
