Title:
[g41] Live CD does not boot up Gives error message

Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

Every time when booting a live CD of Ubuntu 10.04 or 10.04.1, the program
hangs up just after a purple screen with the message:
"03sc00i00' unexpected exit with status 0x0009"
Ubuntu ver 8.04 runs as a Live CD correctly without any problems on my PC.
The CD is good as it has been used to install the program or run it as a Live
CD on 2 other PC's with lower spec AMD processors
  My PC specs are
Gigabyte M/B GA-G41M-ES2L with onboard VGA
Intel E8400 Core 2 Duo CPU
  Seagate 500 GB HD
  Sony DVD ROM
  Samsung DVD RW
  Windows XP SP3

Stenten ([email protected]) has been assisting me with the problem
He advised me to press any key at the purple screen and then F6, select
"nomodeset" and "xforcevesa"
I selected "nomodeset" but could not find ""xforcevesa"
Ubuntu then booted up correctly into the GUI.
I then opened the Terminal and ran "ubuntu-bug xserver-xorg-video-intel" as
he said, and a report has been sent. Where and to whom, I don't know.
I was the routed to this webpage
