I tested this and it works just like all the Microsoft products. I generally preview on Excel and change to the best orientation, (This is often landscape). Clicking the properties button and clicking the landscape button does the trick though.

Status in The OpenOffice.org Suite: New Status in “openoffice.org” package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Bug description: Binary package hint: openoffice.org Issue: When a user attempts to change page orientation using the Print window after pressing CTRL+P or File > Print they are unable to do so successfully. I understand how to properly set the page orientation in Open Office, I just think it should be possible to do so using the "Print Window" after pressing Ctrl+P, or File > Print. In a perfect world "Page Orientation" would be configurable on the first window presented to the user after invoking the Print command via dotting "Portrait" or "Landscape". Note: Other oo.o apps are probably affected such as Writer, etc. Thank you. -bluecat9 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/openoffice/+bug/97277/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
