Evolution 3.6.2 update with 3 small IMAP accounts (maybe 200 hundred emails stored on remote mail server): the entire UI blocks to the point of why-bother-sticking-with-this-P..
I have turned off junk mail checking and every other possible resource requiring activity, all to no avail. My workflow consists of attempting to a view a message (plain text, could be a few bytes of data like a "hello" text email) and waiting several MINUTES for the UI to unblock. High speed connection on Dell M4700 QM3840 + SSD +16GB RAM. Firefox, SSH, etc. all blazing fast. Can access remote mail server via webmail and everything is snappy. What on earth is happening under the hood for Evolution to block the entire UI??? Is there a way to make Evolution snappy as it used to be in 2.x days? I like Evolution in principle but in practice it's become too painful, need to look elsewhere unless there's a miracle around the corner.
