Title:
[pineviewgm] Backlight changes at random, brightness applet doesn't
work
Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: xorg
I've got a brand new asus EEEPC 1001 px
The first problem was that the back light didn't work at all. After a
small fix the back light was working but if you use the hot keys the
value changes at random.
The applet doesn't work at all. You cant change the value.
What you could do (I know this sounds silly but it works) is push the
brightness applet, you will see the little thing, which you can not
push because then it will close, but then you should use your hot
keys. They function properly then.
