Status in “xserver-xorg-input-evdev” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: In the beta-1 of Precise, the "Cando" touchscreen of my Acer 1825PTZ does not work anymore. After the first few successful "clicks" on the touchscreen, new "clicks" are not registered anymore. I can still move the cursor via the touchscreen, however. When I switch over to the mouse in this state, it also stops registering clicks after a few of them. The mouse can still move the cursor, just as the touchscreen. Sometimes, the pointer will jump to an entirely different position, when I click a button on the mouse while the touchscreen is bugged out. If I do not use the touchscreen at all, and only the mouse, this behaviour does not seem to trigger. My touchscreen worked fine with Oneiric, so this a regression.
