I am not certain that this is a bug. I think the reason that the youtube
videos do not auto play is for security reasons. Have you ever had the youtube
videos play before when you load a page? If this is something that you want
your browser to do you can probably find an add on that will do this for you.

Youtube videos wont play when the play is open unless I click on the
play button, even with shuffle and continuous play selected. They also
appear as empty black boxes on all forums.
