Title:
  NVIDIA drivers not detect videocard after installing

Status in “nvidia-graphics-drivers” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  After installing proprietary driver ['nvidia-current' / 'nvidia-
  current-updates'] via 'software-properties-gtk' and rebooting, driver
  not detect the videocard [NVIDIA GeForce 210]. Also I have very low
  resolution and "empty" nvidia-settings.

  Ubuntu 12.10 amd64
  nvidia-current-updates 304.51-0ubuntu1

  Solution:
  1. Install 'linux-source' package;
  2. Install 'linux-headers-generic' package;
  3. Remove 'nvidia-current' or 'nvidia-current-updates' package;
  4. Reinstall 'nvidia-current' or 'nvidia-current-updates' package;
  5. Reboot.

  So problem is what linux-source and linux-headers-generic not
  installing by default when nvidia proprietary driver activating. So
  may be bug in nvidia driver packages or software-properties-gtk?
