tomboy loses open notes when laptop runs out of power

Bug description:
Linux mint cinnamon 14 rc (with encrypted home), tomboy 1.12.0.
I had a note open, I then went away and left my laptop.
Im not sure exactly what happened, but when I came back my laptop had
ran out of power.
When I switched it on again, that note no longer existed. I could not
find it anywhere (I looked in ~home/.local/share/tomboy/backup).
