Title:
impossible to add network printer in Edubuntu

Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I tried to add a network printer and gnome-control-center fails:

  I do:
Applications - System Tools - System Settings - Hardware - Printers
Add new Printer leads to the "gnome-control-center" and by choosing "Network"
i get this error message:

  FirewallD is not running.
Network printer detection needs services mdns, ipp, ipp-client and
samba-client enabled on firewall.

The option "Add" is not allowed (greyed out), even i give the right address
and port...
The search needs a long time and comes back with nothing.

On my two other machines (Xubuntu 12.04 and 12.10) it works flawless
to add the printer and printing itself!

If there is an package missing, why would it not installed at least
when i try to add a network printer?

  .
