Rhythbox, on a quad-core workstation with SSD, no local music (using smba
share.)
All settings deleted, as described

I did also purg rhythmbox and reinstalled it. - we are speaking about
no songs in library.
- still over twenty seconds from I click a mp3, or just start the
application, till the window is displayed.
