Title:
gnome-terminal crashed with SIGSEGV in gdk_display_get_event()
Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I believe this crash coincided with a lock up across the whole of
gnome-shell due to a defect sending an eject signal to my DVD drive.
The DVD drive does not eject and kernel messages are written
indicating that the link is reset. gnome-terminal never crashes for me
as a rule, and this other defect is not frequent hence the coincident
failures I assume are significant.
The issue is not terribly problematic since I can avoid the problem by
stopping applications from ejecting CDs.
