Title:
applet.py crashed with IPPError in _authloop()

Status in “system-config-printer” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
We're getting lots of these, most of the time users say they just
wanted to check the printer queue. All machines have more or less the
same setup; specifically there are no local printers on the machines
in question but a central print server with CUPS (from debian 6) which
shares the printers via Cups broadcast-based browsing over the
  network.
