I can confirm that. Ubuntu 12.04 64bit and 11.11.28-0ubuntu1.3 crashes
everyday. Checking on the internet, people are having this problem since
a year ago... How come there is no solution yet?

Title:
indicator-weather crashed on login (when no wifi)

Status in “indicator-weather” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: indicator-weather

Up to date as of 2011-03-24 16:00 UTC

  Indicator crashes on login.

I believe this is because there was no active network connection (wifi
or otherwise). But I'll have to retest this.

Restarting after connecting to a wifi network, the indicator does not
  crash.
