Bug description:
To reproduce on trunk unity:
1) Open the dash
2) Type anything, such as "Hello"
3) Maximize or Restore the dash
Expected:
The string "Hello" is still visible.
Result:
The string "Hello" is no longer visible until another key is pressed.
