Lightdm background doesn't change

Bug description:
I did a totally clean install from today's daily raring iso. Now the
lightdm background refuses to change when I change my wallpaper. If I
change the backgroung either via one of the default backgrounds in the
control center or via eog lightdm keeps using the purple background.
