Still experiencing this problem on a fully updated 12.10, (which has been upgraded from a 12.04 install) but it's not consitent. The problem only occurs for me when opening existing documents, about 80% of the time: - open libreoffice program, press alt: results from libreoffice menus - open libreoffice existing document, press alt: results from indicator menus (top bar)
I just tried the unity --replace trick jacubpesa mentioned some posts up: - open existing libreoffice document, press alt: results from indicator menus (top bar) - unity --replace - hud works for the opened document -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1045353 Title: Commands are not displayed in the HUD Status in “hud” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Ubuntu Release: Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal beta1 Package version: libreoffice-gtk Package version: 1:3.6.1~rc2-1ubuntu3 Expected behavior: It should be possible to launch LO actions from the HUD.
