Title:
screen corruption when drawing buffers to screen

Status in “fglrx-installer” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
in 12.10 i notice screen corruption when using several applications: xaos and
gpicview
with older fglrx drivers this problem does not exist.

looks like a hardware draw from a buffer is reading from bad locations
  in memory.
