bar together without any space between them.

Status in “gnome-panel” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
In the new ubuntu 13.04 there are changes in the way Programs and
Places look, there is no space between them so both menus are
togheter. Is in the top bar by default of gnome-panel. Next to the
  ubuntu icon.

In previos version ubuntu 12.10 there is a space between the two
  menus.
