This fix posted by EricW in bug #1160533 fixed the problem for me:

"This is a small packaging problem. To get rid of the error you can
safely remove libreoffice-emailmerge with dpkg (it is a transitional
package, which means that it contains nothing, as it is now integrated
in libreoffice-common package).

After this, reinstall libreoffice-common with synaptic or apt-get,
everything should run fine."

** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1160533
   The error occured short (1-2 Min.) after booting, I did not run libreoffice 
at all.
