Title:
CompWindow::syncPosition () function is deprecated and was removed in
lp:compiz, r3639
Status in Unity:
Fix Committed
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
We need to adjust lp:unity to keep it compatible with Compiz trunk.
Please see http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~compiz-
team/compiz/0.9.9/revision/3639
The MP linked should fix this and make Unity 100% compatible with
Compiz trunk again.
Note:
This Compiz change has not landed yet in lp:compiz/raring, so nothing is
broken yet.
It won't hurt to merge this now though as CompWindow::syncPosition () is just
an
empty function and does nothing currently, so removing it with this MP will
just
increase Unity's performance marginally.
Note 2:
I also removed the bool sync from the UnityDialogWindow::moveToRect(CompRect
currentRect)
function as this bool was just used to determine if syncPosition () should be
called and
thus is also redundant now.
