Allan, the version of fglrx in the repo is similar, so I'm wondering why you
didn't just use that?
Anyway, you can close your own bugs if you wish by marking them Invalid.

I followed instructions from
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2074962 after installing
dependencies.
