It seems I can download stuff from Amazon using Banshee under 12.10
again. The Download link seems to be working. It did not work last year
after the launch of the Amazon Cloud Player. It seems Amazon was sending
corrupt/fake/whatever .amz files to Linux User Agents. Could someone
confirm this? Maybe this bug is obsolete due to changes at the amazon
mp3 store ;)

Title:
MP3s from amazon are no longer downloaded (Cause: Change on the
  website)

Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
If trying to buy music from amazon amazon informs the user about a website
change:
Music is now sold using the 1-click method and by defauls saved in the cloud
player that contains a download functionality.
When the order is completed there still is a button that allows to download
the .amz file though, and when clicking on the button it seems like banshee
understands what this file means: A progress bar appears in the left sidebar
and the information that banshee is connecting to amazon.
The .amz files amazon provides can still be downloaded using the clamz
command line utility. Banshee instead seems to stop the download after trying
to connect to amazon, currently
