Title:
NM does not offer the option to set a WPA-PEAP connection, TKIP-
  encrypted, MSCHAPv2-authenticated, w/o certs

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Opinion

Bug description:
  lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu Raring Ringtail (development branch)
  Release: 13.04

  network-manager:
    Installato: 0.9.8.0-0ubuntu2
    Candidato: 0.9.8.0-0ubuntu2
    Tabella versione:
   *** 0.9.8.0-0ubuntu2 0
          500 http://it.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ raring/main amd64 Packages
          100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Whereas programs like wpagui offer the option to setup a WPA-PEAP
connection providing TKIP encryption and MSCHAPv2 authentication, NM
does not allow this. As a result, selecting certain networks in NM-
applet results in a looping request for ID & pwd to the network
  (authentication fails).
