I have a similar problem with Firefox 19.0.2.
After some time of use (multiple hours, tens of tabs opened) where everything
is fine, suddently keyboard input doesn't work anymore: all input is
redirected to the previously selected window (gnome-terminal windows in my case
as this is mostly what I use) and Mouse still works fine and Firefox is
responsive.
I had this problem 3 or 4 times in the last month (this is my work
environment), and this is almost the only reason I have to restart Firefox (I'm
using hibernate mode out of work hours, so my Firefox session may last more
than 7 days with tens of tabs). I remember having this issue previously with
previous versions of Firefox, but not so frequently.

Is it a Firefox bug? A window manager bug?
Please tell me what investigation I could do next time.

Bug description:

After starting firefox for several minutes, sometimes the forefox does not
receive any keyboard input, such as page up/down, url input or any other

will be ok, but sometimes the problem is still there.

My system is ubuntu dapper striker 3, with dist-upgrade.
