Title:
Wireless not a network option
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Upon installing dual boot ubuntu 12.10 with windows 7, the wireless
works fine with windows. When you switch over to ubuntu it
automatically turns off and cannot turn back on. When you go to click
on the network on the top bar it only shows connections of wired. Also
when you go to add a network connection ubuntu acts like the wireless
card is not there.
This is a very annoying issue, someone please look into this.
