Title:
Xorg crashed with SIGABRT in raise()

Status in “xorg-server” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Was trying to register my email in Thunderbird when the crash happened
in the background. Have been running Evolution until now.

Am running an i7 3770K CPU using the integrated HD4000 intel gpu via
an ASUS P8Z77-i delux mother board and Display port cable to a 27"
  2560x1440 ASUS screen.

This is a new (about 2 weeks old) machine. Loaded Ubuntu 13.04 on from
the start. Ran very well even on the built in wireless network or
wired ethernet etc, until about 29 March when it did a big update.
From then on has frequently failed to boot - giving a message that it
could not find my video or inputs and was only able to run low
resolution. Message was at normal resolution for the 100x100mm part
of the screen that was not black. Found that initially my mouse
would not work on display of the message but even after clicking on
the check box it would not run. Then would do a hard reset and most
  times it would start normally.

Running Ubuntu 12.10 on my Samsung 900X3C almost flawlessly - only
keyboard backlighting does not work (don't need or want it so have
  left it alone).

Next time it happens will try and capture the message and report it
  properly.

  Mike
