Both the Applications and file Files and Folders icons in the dash have
been updated several times since this bug was files. It just somehow
doesn't seem quite as relevant any more. Changing status as
appropriate.

Title:
Counterintuitive icons for "Applications" and "Files and folders"

Status in Ayatana Design:
  Invalid
Status in Unity:
  Invalid
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
The icon for "Applications" is currently a "plus sign". A plus sign
means "add", and this has nothing to do with starting applications.

The current icon is for "Files and Folders" is a magnifying glass, which
suggest "search". It would make more sense that the icon look like a ...
folder. The icon used in 10.10 (netbook edition) used to be ok.
